Here you will find projects that I've done at University as a part of a class or team!
01
Tesla ANSYS Valve Analysis
For this project, I worked in a group of two other Mechanical Engineering Students as a part of our Fluid Dynamics Course. We we were tasked to analyze how Nikola Tesla's patented valve works with fluids of different Reynolds's Numbers, viscosity by analysing pressure and velocity plots using Ansys. We had zero prior experience using Ansys but we persevered!
02
Custom Machined Car Jack
For this project, I machined all of the parts on my own using the CNC Machine, Lathe, bandsaw amongst other machinery. This was the final project of an 5 week course on using the machinery available at our School's Mechanical Engineering Shop.

Simon Says Arduino Game
Of a group of 5, I was in charge of the arduino and electrical set-up for this game. During the pandemic, we we did not have access to the makerspace but nonetheless we let our ingenuity guide us. The video was submitted as a presentation in which we had to teach our audience something new!
06
Arithmetic Bubble Gum Toy
Worked with a partner to develop an arithmetic toy for children that teaches them how to interactively add and subtract single digits. I spearheaded the idea and the main design for the toy. I collaborated with Malik Fountain as he worked on the report and half of the CAD modeling.

07
FIRST Robotics Robot
As team Co-Captain and Intake Lead, I led the design and fabrication of the intake mechanism for our 2020 competing robot. Unfortunately, due to COVID, our competition was canceled. I know we built a winning robot! Check out some pictures of my hard work :)

The Lowline

As a group of four, we followed a human centered approach to solving a problem that New York City Residents experienced. This challenge was to find a problem that repurposes a target audience. For our project, we found repurposing abandoned train stations in NYC to be profitable and a great experience for exploring vertical farming and indoor farming endeavors while making it accessible to residents all year round.
